FlickClean up your photos and free up storage
One swipe decides.
Every photo comes on its own, in full screen. One swipe keeps it, the other removes it. You choose which side keeps when you set up the app.
- Videos play on tap, Live Photos on a long press
- Every swipe can be undone right away
- The folder button puts a photo straight into an album
- A soft click and a short vibration confirm every swipe
Tap a photo to keep it. Hold it for a preview. The button deletes the rest.
Nothing disappears before you see it.
At the end of a round, Flick shows everything you marked once more as a grid. Only the red button deletes, and it tells you the number of photos and the space first.
- Tap a photo and it stays after all
- Press and hold it for the large preview
- Photos that are already in an album get their own step
- Deleted photos stay in your gallery’s trash for 30 days
18 photos cleaned up
Can be restored from the trash for 30 days.
214 more in your whole gallery
DoneAt the end you see what you gained.
Every finished round ends with the same summary: how much space was freed, how many photos are gone and where your level and flame stand.
- The freed storage counts up before your eyes
- Level and flame are right below
- A note tells you how much is still waiting in your whole gallery
Last month is already waiting.
When you open the app, exactly one stack is ready: last month. No mountain, no list, just a few minutes of work.
- The big number tells you how many photos are still open
- Whole gallery catches up on everything and remembers where you stopped
- Only photos, only videos or both: you choose beforehand
- Freed storage, reviewed photos and rounds are shown at the top
1 more month to the next flame
Your flame grows every month.
A cleaned-up month keeps the flame alive, a skipped one resets it. Five stages show how long you have been at it.
- One month green, three turquoise, six blue, twelve violet, twenty-four gold
- Only the current stage is awake, the others are asleep
- Before the month ends, a notification reminds you so it does not go out
Ten levels, from Newcomer to Master.
Every reviewed photo earns experience. The levels have English names, the same in every language, and you will not reach the last one in a weekend.
- From Newcomer through Collector to Master
- Twenty-four thousand experience points to the last level
- Every level-up gets a short celebration
Tap to switch the state
A widget that does not nag.
On your home screen your flame sits in a ring that shows how far away the next level is. Below it are your level and exactly one line: whether something is still waiting or everything is done. No badge, no red dot, no sound.
- The ring fills with every reviewed photo
- The flame has the colour of your current stage
- When a new month starts, the line switches back by itself
- One tap opens Flick, otherwise it never bothers you
Collections bring together what belongs together.
Pick a type, show two or three examples, and Flick finds the rest on your device. No picture ever leaves your phone.
- Eight types: person, pet, plant, landscape, food, vehicle, place and everything else
- By their faces, Flick recognises people, and places by where the photo was taken
- The first pass reads your whole library once, later ones are quick
- The matches come as a stack to swipe
Press and hold an album to rename it, sort it with stars or add it to your collections.
Albums stay real folders.
Flick does not create its own database. What you see here are the folders of your gallery. A change here applies everywhere, in every other photo app too.
- Holding opens rename, stars and collections
- Stars lift your five most important ones to the top
- An album can be turned straight into a collection
Press and hold an album to rename it, sort it with stars or add it to your collections.
12 photos move into the album and leave their current folder. Keep a copy instead and the originals stay where they are.
Move here Keep a copyFiling always asks first.
When a photo moves into an album, Flick asks what should happen to the original. It asks every time, not once and then never again.
- Move here takes the photo out of the old folder
- Keep a copy leaves the original where it is
- With many photos you decide per stack
Everything that could bother you can be switched off.
The swipe sides, vibration, sounds, accent colour and language are all in the settings.
- Left-handed swaps keep and delete
- Haptics and sounds can be switched off separately
- The accent colour tints the whole app
- Eleven languages, light and dark mode

Does Flick need the internet?
No. Flick works entirely on your device. No account, no cloud, no sign-in. Your photos never leave your phone.
Is a photo deleted right away when I swipe it away?
